The Food Trucker
Website
I'm personally not a huge fan of the kogi truck, but I've been reading a lot about the other new trucks out there and all the craze that's behind them. I'm jumping on the bandwagon, finally.
The Food Trucker is a great place to find out about all the different food trucks out there, what events are coming up, and they have a real cool application where they have a map showing where there are open trucks at that very moment. Don't know how accurate it is, but it's a great concept.
Phoenix Food Boutique
Locations: Rowland Heights, South Pasadena, Alhambra, San Gabriel, Arcadia

Decent, cheap, Chinese food, that's open relatively late. There's 3 locations within a 4 mile stretch of Colima in Rowland Heights. They got shrimp with glazed walnuts for about $7!

Yelp
Learned about this place from a former co-worker who doesn't even live around the area. Go for the shaved snow (not shaved ice). I like the one with strawberries and chocolate fudge. Ask for extra condensed milk. Good for two people or maybe more. Their crispy mushrooms are bomb too.

Not really gourmet sushi, but very good prices for decent quality. Each plate is only $2.50. The albacore sushi is pretty good.

Great seafood cocktails, ceviches, and Mexican seafood dishes. Speaking Spanish would help a little.
I just started another food blog. This one's gonna be a list of restaurants with happy hour food menus and specials. Don't know how far I'll get into, but hopefully I can stay consistent and update it frequently. Check it out and let me know what you think. If you know any places with happy hour food deals, it would be a big help if you left me a comment there. Thanks.

Most of the Vegas locals recommend this place and say it's the best buffet right now. I concur.
The buffet is located south of The Strip inside the M resort/casino. It's about $30 for the seafood dinner. Go to their site or Yelp to find out more....
If you don't know... now you know.

Relatively new Boiling Crab-like spot in Rowland Heights on Nogales and Colima. It's in the same plaza as Rite Aid and the Korean Supermarket. Most of my friends and I prefer going here instead of BC. Their sauce is chunkier and more garlicky. Some say the shrimps are bigger. Not sure. Service is awesome.

closer to home than Koyo. Salmon sushi was pretty fatty. Gotta go back to try more of their sushi.

My second favorite sushi spot (because it's close to home). Serves traditional sushi/japanese food. For dinner, only sushi is available.

Bomb thai curry pizza.
I'm probably not gonna be posting full reviews on here anymore, but every now and then I'll fill you in with a spot I really like. I'll possibly put up a quick review on Yelp if I'm feeling productive.
